Invisalign
Invisalign is a brand of clear, removable, plastic aligners that gradually straighten the teeth. The aligners may need to be work worn for 20–22 hrs everyday.
During the procedure, your dentist uses 3D imaging to create a custom plan for moving your teeth. You wear a series of aligners, each for about two weeks which will be replaced with new sets every few weeks to help gradually straighten or align your teeth.
Invisalign treatment offers several advantages over traditional braces, including a discreet appearance, removable aligners for easy eating and cleaning, and a more comfortable treatment experience requiring fewer dental visits. However, invisalign may not be suitable for cases, particularly those with severe orthodontic issues. Your dentist would recommend treatment options based on your individual circumstance or refer to an orthodontist if you require specialist treatment.
